Sisters Sharon & Lucy launched in 2018 after attending training and workshops in furniture renovation and upholstery.

Sharon's Story:

Sharon was very creative from an early age, and after her mother taught her to sew she would spend hours making her own clothes. This love of sewing led her to attend college after leaving school to study fashion design.

When buying her first house her instinct was to buy something that needed a little work which she could do and put her own stamp on. This triggered a passion for house renovation which continued to gather pace when she met her husband Zach and led to them both appearing on Homes Under The Hammer whilst renovating their first home together.

This desire to know how to turn something that is practical but dated into something modern and beautiful led Sharon to a new career in Upholstery. She is a graduate of the UK's leading modern upholstery school the Ministry of Upholstery.

Lucy's Story:

Lucy's creativity came from Mum and Grandma and one of the earliest things she tackled was upholstering a sofa in her first home.

Later on Lucy and her husband Dave decided to embark on a self build project, buying a derelict property and demolishing it completely by themselves, they then built their own family home. The house was located in a conservation area which gave them the inspiration to reuse as much of the old building as possible.

Reusing what others may not think to and having a keen eye for design was the beginning of a journey that has enabled Lucy to turn a way of life and thinking into a career.

We are lucky to have been inspired by these two strong, independent women.
